UAV Operator Course PEGASUS ARMS 25

Training course for external pilots (operators) of Class I small UAVs of the multi-rotor type PEGASUS ARMS 25

We are creating a team of new-generation unmanned systems operators. Our graduates are not just pilots, but combat professionals capable of operating effectively in the most challenging conditions.

The training is conducted in accordance with the Temporary Pilot Training Course (Class I), approved by the Main Directorate of State Aviation of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (Order No. 84 dated 14.05.2025). A certificate is issued, leading to the acquisition of the military occupational specialty of an unmanned aerial systems operator.

All classes are conducted by highly qualified educators, as well as pilot instructors—war veterans and military service veterans who have been trained at the Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, in accordance with the certificates of the Temporary Course for External Pilots-Instructors of Class I Unmanned Aerial Systems.

Training Structure:

  1. 48 academic hours of theoretical training
  2. 48 hours of practical training
  3. Comprehensive exam: theoretical test + flight examination
  4. Practice in conditions as close to combat as possible

Learning Outcomes

48 hours of theory, including:

  • •  Air legislation
  • •   General knowledge of remotely piloted aircraft
  • •  Principles, planning, and execution of flight
  • •  Meteorology, navigation, communication, and more.

48 flight hours:

  • •  24 hours as a pilot on «PEGASUS ARMS 25»: 19 hours daytime + 5 hours nighttime
  • •  24 hours as an operator on «PEGASUS ARMS 25»: 19 hours daytime + 5 hours nighttime

Operating «PEGASUS ARMS 25» strike UAVs with various types of combat payloads

Performing combat missions:

  • Cargo delivery, strike missions

Safety and Survival

  • •  Conduct on the front line, teamwork, minor equipment repairs
  • •  Cybersecurity, location selection, risk minimization

Operating in adverse weather conditions:

  • •  Weather forecasting, use of analysis software

Countering enemy drones

  • •  Use of EW/ESM, anti-drone measures
  • •  Crew tactics in case of enemy interference
