When it comes to mobilization or signing a contract with the Armed Forces, the biggest fear for many is the unknown. “Where will I be sent? What will I be doing?”
Without prior training, you are a “blank sheet” to the system. This means you can be assigned to any vacant position where there is a shortage (most often, this is an infantry rifleman). The only way to take control of your destiny is to obtain a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) before you even visit the Recruitment Center.
Let’s break down why the certificate from HTEC “MIST” is your ticket to the high-tech forces.
What is an MOS and Why Does It Matter?
A Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) is a digital code that defines your profession in the army. For example, a driver-mechanic, a signalman, or a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) Operator.
If your military ID card lists the MOS for “UAV Operator,” the Recruitment Center is obliged to consider you specifically as a specialist in this profile. This is your protection against misuse. You become a valuable asset sought after by commanders of aerial reconnaissance and strike drone units.

The “Internet Course” Trap
There are hundreds of ads online: “Learn to fly a drone in 3 days.” You pay the money, watch videos, receive a PDF file with a nice seal… but at the Recruitment Center, this paper is not recognized.
Why does this happen? Because only documents from institutions holding an official License from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine have legal force. Without a license, any “diploma” is just a souvenir.
The HTEC “MIST” Advantage
Our center is a licensed vocational education institution (License No. 124).
The algorithm for obtaining an MOS through our center looks like this:
- Training: You undergo an intensive course (for example, on the heavy strike complex Pegasus Arms 25). This involves 96 hours of theory and practice, including night flights.
- Exam: You pass a qualification exam, proving your piloting, engineering, and tactical skills.
- State Certificate: You receive a state-recognized certificate confirming your professional qualification.
- Recruitment Center: Based on this certificate, the Recruitment Center officially assigns or changes your MOS code.
Who Is This For?
- For Civilians: You enter the military as a specialist. You can choose a specific unit, get a letter of request (vidnoshennya), and serve where you are needed as a pilot.
- For Active Duty Soldiers: The certificate provides grounds for transfer to the position of a UAV operator within your current or a different unit.
Do not leave it to chance. A profession is your safety and your efficiency on the front line.
